The Iowa City Community Band is a volunteer organization. We rely on donations from individuals and businesses to help defray expenses. We pay guest conductors and soloists a modest honorarium. We also purchase new music and equipment, including helping purchase the portable stage we use in our summer concerts and chairs used in performances in the Englert Theatre.
